The city magazine “Geheimtipp Hamburg” wanted to bring the MS Stubnitz closer to the people of Hamburg and was looking for someone to show the ship in front of the camera and tell them a bit about the ship.
The Stubnitz is a former reefer ship of the GDR deep-sea offshore fishing fleet, which has been operated as a cultural site and event location since 1992. Recently, the MS Stubnitz has also become a registered industrial monument, providing an insight into the real life of GDR deep-sea fishermen and documenting industrial technology and shipbuilding in the GDR.
The short movie that was shot with me is unfortunately in german but contains many beautiful images of the ship.
